MASEPLAY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome to MasePlay (“MasePlay”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MasePlay website, applications, games, competitions, payment services, wallet services, and related products and services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By creating an account, accessing the Platform, depositing funds, participating in a game or competition, or otherwise using MasePlay, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use MasePlay.

1. ABOUT MASEPLAY

MasePlay is an online gaming platform that provides users with access to various games and gaming experiences, which may include player-versus-player (“P2P”), player-versus-bot (“PVB”), competitive, casual, and other games made available from time to time.

MasePlay may introduce, modify, suspend, or discontinue games, features, competitions, promotions, or other services at any time, subject to applicable law and these Terms.

MasePlay does not permit the Platform to be used as a vehicle for fraud, money laundering, theft, identity fraud, payment fraud, or any other unlawful activity.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must satisfy all applicable legal and regulatory requirements to use MasePlay.

You must provide accurate information during registration and whenever MasePlay reasonably requests information for account verification, security, compliance, fraud prevention, or other lawful purposes.

You must not create or operate an account using another person's identity or information.

MasePlay reserves the right to restrict or refuse access where it reasonably believes that a user does not satisfy applicable eligibility, verification, age, location, or regulatory requirements.

Where applicable law or regulatory requirements impose minimum-age restrictions, those restrictions apply regardless of any information displayed elsewhere on the Platform.

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials.

You must:

• provide truthful and accurate registration information;
• keep your password and authentication credentials confidential;
• immediately notify MasePlay if you suspect unauthorised access to your account;
• not allow another person to operate your account;
• not sell, rent, transfer, or otherwise provide your account to another person.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless you can demonstrate that the activity occurred without your authorisation and despite reasonable security measures being taken by you.

MasePlay may require additional identity or account verification before allowing certain activities, including deposits, withdrawals, competitions, or access to particular features.

4. ONE ACCOUNT PER USER

Unless expressly authorised by MasePlay, each individual may maintain only one MasePlay account.

Creating multiple accounts to obtain bonuses, promotions, competition advantages, evade restrictions, manipulate games, or circumvent security controls is prohibited.

MasePlay may associate accounts using information including, where lawfully permitted:

• verified telephone numbers;
• identity information;
• payment information;
• device information;
• IP information;
• transaction history;
• gameplay patterns;
• other security or fraud-prevention indicators.

Where multiple accounts appear to be controlled by the same person or connected to prohibited activity, MasePlay may investigate and take appropriate action.

5. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

You must provide information that is complete, accurate, current, and not misleading.

Providing false identity information, using another person's identity, submitting fraudulent documents, manipulating verification processes, or deliberately concealing information requested for lawful compliance purposes is prohibited.

MasePlay may request additional information or documentation where reasonably necessary to verify an account, transaction, withdrawal, payment source, identity, or suspected abuse.

6. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You must not use MasePlay to:

1. commit, facilitate, finance, or attempt fraud;
2. obtain money or property through deception;
3. use stolen payment credentials;
4. use another person's bank account or payment instrument without lawful authority;
5. launder money or conceal the source of funds;
6. impersonate another person;
7. create fraudulent or duplicate accounts;
8. manipulate games or competition outcomes;
9. exploit software vulnerabilities, bugs, glitches, or technical errors;
10. use bots, scripts, automation, or unauthorised software to obtain an unfair advantage;
11. collude with other users to manipulate P2P games or competitions;
12. manipulate matchmaking, rankings, rewards, or competition results;
13. interfere with another user's account;
14. attempt to gain unauthorised access to MasePlay systems;
15. introduce malware, malicious code, or other harmful software;
16. reverse engineer or attack the Platform;
17. use MasePlay to facilitate an unlawful transaction;
18. use MasePlay for any purpose prohibited by Nigerian law or other applicable law.

This list is not exhaustive.

7. FRAUD, SECURITY AND ABUSE PREVENTION

MasePlay takes fraud and financial abuse seriously.

We may use reasonable technical, operational, and analytical measures to identify suspicious activity, including unusual account behaviour, payment activity, account relationships, gameplay patterns, device information, and other relevant indicators.

Where MasePlay identifies activity that reasonably appears suspicious, fraudulent, unlawful, manipulated, or inconsistent with these Terms, we may:

• place temporary restrictions on an account;
• suspend gameplay or competition participation;
• delay or review a withdrawal;
• request additional verification;
• reverse or withhold rewards obtained through prohibited activity, where legally permissible;
• terminate an account;
• preserve relevant records;
• cooperate with payment providers, regulators, law-enforcement authorities, courts, or other competent authorities where legally required or appropriate.

MasePlay does not guarantee that every fraudulent transaction or prohibited activity will be detected.

Users must report suspected fraud, account compromise, payment abuse, cheating, or other unlawful activity to MasePlay promptly.

8. USER RESPONSIBILITY FOR LAWFUL USE

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of MasePlay is lawful.

MasePlay provides the Platform and gaming services but does not authorise users to conduct unlawful transactions or activities.

Your use of MasePlay does not create an agency, partnership, employment, fiduciary, or other relationship between you and MasePlay beyond the services expressly described in these Terms.

9. P2P GAMES

Certain MasePlay games may allow users to compete directly against other users.

Where a P2P game is available:

• players must participate using their own accounts;
• collusion is prohibited;
• intentional manipulation of game outcomes is prohibited;
• exploiting technical errors or vulnerabilities is prohibited;
• users must not coordinate with another player to manipulate a result;
• MasePlay may investigate suspicious gameplay patterns.

Where MasePlay determines that a result has been materially affected by prohibited conduct, MasePlay may take reasonable corrective action consistent with the circumstances and applicable law.

10. PVB AND COMPUTER-CONTROLLED GAMES

Certain games may involve computer-controlled opponents or other automated gameplay systems.

The applicable game rules will determine how each game operates.

MasePlay may use automated systems, game logic, randomisation systems, or other technical mechanisms to operate such games.

Users must not attempt to manipulate the technical operation of such systems.

11. COMPETITIONS

MasePlay may organise competitions, tournaments, leagues, challenges, or other promotional gaming events.

Each competition may have additional rules governing:

• eligibility;
• entry requirements;
• entry fees or stakes;
• game selection;
• scheduling;
• scoring;
• rankings;
• prizes;
• tie-breaking;
• disqualification;
• withdrawal or cancellation.

Where additional competition rules apply, those rules form part of these Terms.

MasePlay reserves the right to investigate suspected cheating, collusion, account manipulation, or other prohibited conduct in competitions.

12. WALLET AND FUNDS

MasePlay may provide an internal wallet or account balance for recording eligible deposits, winnings, rewards, fees, adjustments, and withdrawals.

Your MasePlay balance is not a bank account and MasePlay is not a bank merely because the Platform records monetary balances for gaming purposes.

Users must not use the MasePlay wallet to transfer funds for unlawful purposes.

MasePlay may require verification before permitting certain transactions.

13. DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS

Deposits may be processed through third-party payment providers.

You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method submitted to MasePlay.

You must not use:

• stolen cards;
• stolen bank accounts;
• unauthorised payment credentials;
• another person's payment method without proper authority;
• fraudulent payment information.

MasePlay may investigate disputed, reversed, fraudulent, suspicious, or unauthorised transactions.

Where a payment provider reverses or disputes a transaction, MasePlay may temporarily restrict the associated account while the matter is investigated.

14. WITHDRAWALS

Withdrawals are subject to MasePlay's applicable withdrawal rules, verification requirements, limits, processing procedures, and applicable law.

MasePlay may require identity, account ownership, payment-source, or other verification before processing a withdrawal.

Where a withdrawal is reasonably suspected to involve fraud, stolen funds, account takeover, payment abuse, prohibited activity, or another compliance concern, MasePlay may temporarily delay processing while the matter is reviewed.

MasePlay will not intentionally use this process to unlawfully withhold legitimate user funds.

15. THIRD-PARTY PAYMENT PROVIDERS

MasePlay may use third-party payment processors and financial service providers.

MasePlay is not responsible for failures caused exclusively by a third-party provider, including banking delays, payment-provider downtime, network failures, rejected transactions, or provider-imposed restrictions.

However, MasePlay will take reasonable steps to investigate payment issues that affect users.

16. FEES

MasePlay may charge platform fees, transaction fees, competition fees, or other disclosed charges.

Applicable fees will be communicated before or during the relevant transaction where reasonably practicable.

MasePlay may change its fees by providing appropriate notice or displaying updated fees on the Platform.

17. BONUSES AND PROMOTIONS

Promotional bonuses, rewards, referral benefits, and competitions may be subject to separate rules.

Users must not abuse promotions through:

• duplicate accounts;
• false identities;
• coordinated account creation;
• manipulation of referral systems;
• automated activity;
• other methods designed to obtain benefits contrary to promotional rules.

MasePlay may cancel promotional benefits obtained through prohibited activity, subject to applicable law.

18. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

MasePlay may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where it reasonably believes that:

• these Terms have been violated;
• the account is involved in fraud;
• the account is connected to suspicious activity;
• identity or account information is materially false;
• payment activity is disputed or unauthorised;
• the account is being used for unlawful activity;
• game manipulation or cheating has occurred;
• the account presents a security risk;
• continued access would create a legal, regulatory, security, or operational risk.

Where appropriate and legally permissible, MasePlay may provide notice of the reason for an account restriction.

Certain information may not be disclosed where doing so could compromise an investigation, security measure, fraud-prevention system, legal obligation, or law-enforcement process.

19. LAW-ENFORCEMENT AND LEGAL REQUESTS

MasePlay may cooperate with competent government authorities, courts, regulators, law-enforcement agencies, payment providers, and other legally authorised bodies.

Where legally required, MasePlay may provide relevant information or records relating to an account, transaction, game, payment, or other activity.

MasePlay may preserve records where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, legal compliance, or investigation.

20. RECORDS AND AUDIT TRAILS

MasePlay may maintain records relating to:

• account registration;
• identity verification;
• login activity;
• deposits;
• withdrawals;
• wallet transactions;
• game participation;
• competition participation;
• account changes;
• security events;
• customer-support communications;
• suspected fraudulent or prohibited activity.

Records may be retained for periods reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or protect the rights and security of MasePlay and its users.

21. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA

MasePlay may collect and process personal information necessary to provide its services, maintain account security, verify users, process transactions, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and operate the Platform.

Personal data will be handled in accordance with MasePlay's Privacy Policy and applicable Nigerian data-protection laws.

Users may have rights concerning their personal data as provided by applicable law.

Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.

22. SECURITY

MasePlay implements reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect accounts, systems, transactions, and personal information.

However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Users must also take reasonable precautions, including protecting passwords, authentication credentials, devices, and payment information.

MasePlay will never knowingly ask a user to disclose their password through an unsolicited message.

23. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The MasePlay name, branding, logos, software, website design, graphics, game interfaces, content, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to MasePlay unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from MasePlay's proprietary materials without appropriate permission.

24. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Platform may contain or depend upon third-party services, including payment processors, hosting providers, analytics services, communications providers, identity-verification services, or other technology providers.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

MasePlay does not control every aspect of third-party services.

25. AVAILABILITY OF THE PLATFORM

MasePlay aims to maintain reliable Platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

The Platform may occasionally be unavailable because of:

• maintenance;
• upgrades;
• security incidents;
• infrastructure failures;
• network failures;
• third-party service interruptions;
• regulatory requirements;
• circumstances beyond MasePlay's reasonable control.

26. GAME ERRORS AND TECHNICAL ISSUES

If a technical error materially affects a game, transaction, competition, or account balance, MasePlay may investigate the issue and take reasonable corrective action.

Users must not intentionally exploit technical errors.

Any user who discovers a significant vulnerability or technical error should report it to MasePlay rather than exploiting it.

27. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MasePlay will not be liable for losses arising solely from circumstances outside MasePlay's reasonable control, including certain third-party service failures, network interruptions, device failures, or unauthorised access caused by a user's failure to protect their credentials.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms authorises MasePlay to avoid responsibilities imposed by law.

28. NO GUARANTEE OF WINNINGS

Participation in games or competitions does not guarantee winnings.

Past results, game outcomes, rankings, bonuses, or promotional results do not guarantee future results.

Users are responsible for understanding the rules of each game before participating.

29. RESPONSIBLE PARTICIPATION

Users should participate responsibly and only with funds they can afford to use.

MasePlay may introduce responsible-gaming controls, account restrictions, limits, or other protective measures as required by applicable law or MasePlay policy.

Users may contact MasePlay regarding available account restrictions or responsible-gaming measures.

30. USER COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES

Users should first contact MasePlay through the official support channels regarding complaints concerning:

• deposits;
• withdrawals;
• games;
• competitions;
• account restrictions;
• identity verification;
• bonuses;
• suspected fraud;
• technical issues.

MasePlay will review complaints in accordance with its applicable procedures.

Users should provide sufficient information to allow MasePlay to investigate the matter.

31. FRAUD REPORTING

If you believe that your account has been compromised or that another person is using MasePlay for fraud, contact MasePlay immediately through the official support channel.

Where appropriate, MasePlay may request supporting information, transaction details, screenshots, identification, or other information necessary to investigate the report.

32. INDEMNIFICATION

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, or reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of MasePlay, your violation of these Terms, your fraudulent activity, or your intentional misuse of the Platform.

This provision does not require a user to indemnify MasePlay for liabilities caused by MasePlay's own unlawful conduct or liabilities that cannot legally be transferred to the user.

33. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

MasePlay may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Platform, applicable law, security requirements, regulatory requirements, or business operations.

Where material changes are made, MasePlay will provide notice through appropriate means where required.

The updated Terms will become effective on the stated effective date.

34. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to MasePlay and its users, including applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a user from exercising rights or seeking remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

35. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

36. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with MasePlay's Privacy Policy, applicable game rules, promotional rules, and other policies expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement governing your use of MasePlay.

• you understand that MasePlay may cooperate with competent authorities where legally required or appropriate;
• you agree to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
